Sustainability in the Italian insurance industry

Insurance companies are key players in the financial panorama and their special characteristics make them unique and particularly relevant in terms of ESG policies. They play a dual role as institutional investors, on the one hand, and providers of insurance products and services.

ItaSIF has initiated, jointly with the Italian Insurance Association (ANIA), a survey of the Italian insurance industry with the aim of analyzing how sustainability aspects are included in governance, investment and underwriting policies.
